The Latino Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the game of baseball throughout Latin America and its impact on the culture by collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting its collections for a global audience, as well as honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to our National pastime.

Chairman Selection Committee

Edwin Rodriguez

Edwin Rodriguez has been selected to serve as Chairman of the Selection Committee for the election of players into the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame which oversee players who have performed to a high standard as part of their Major League Baseball careers.

Edwin became the first Puerto Rican-born manager in Major League history when he became the Florida Marlins skipper in 2010. Previously, he played in the major leagues and became a scout and then coached and managed minor league levels and in the Mexican league.

During the off-season, Edwin has worked in the Liga de Brisbois Professional Roberto Clemente, serving many roles. He also managed the Puerto Rico World Baseball Classic team and continues to develop and shape the lives of young player’s on and off the field.
